This will be an evening meeting and the speaker will be Dr. Ron Lett who is the CEO of the Canadian Network for International Surgery (CNIS) who provide the doctors for the Tanzania Medical Training Project. He will talk about the work we are doing in Tanzania.

Founder of the Canadian Network for International Surgery (CNIS), Dr. Ronald Lett did his undergraduate medical training and post-graduate surgical training at the University of Alberta and completed his Masters in Injury Epidemiology at McGill University. Since 1995 he has completed 14 Canadian government-funded projects in Africa focused on surgical and obstetrical skills training as well as injury prevention. He is the CNIS lead on the 9 county TTProject in Kenya.
