Our Club welcomed Sandra Dumitras, Farm to Families Program Coordinator at A Rocha Canada’s environmental centre in BC. Sandra spoke about her work connecting faith, environmental stewardship, food education, community-building, gardening, and cooking.

Sandra shared how the Farm to Families program supports under-served children, families, and seniors in Surrey, Langley, and White Rock through fresh food, hands-on learning, and vegetable donations. She also introduced the Community Action Food Initiative, formed in 2023 to address food security on the Semiahmoo Peninsula through both immediate support and long-term solutions.
