Children of the Street

Maura Fitzpatrick is the guest speaker, and her topic is Children of the Street. “Children of the Street” is a non-profit program in British Columbia focused on preventing the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children and youth. It provides education, public awareness initiatives, workshops, and support services to help keep young people safe and to educate community members about these issues. Maura Fitzpatrick is a Fundraising Specialist with Children of the Street, a program focused on preventing the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children and youth in British Columbia. In her role, she works with individuals, community groups, businesses, and foundations to help raise the funds needed to support the organization’s free educational programs and services. Maura brings many years of fundraising experience to this work and enjoys connecting with others to help them understand and support the cause. |
