We were joined by Alex Nixon, Executive Director of the White Rock BIA, who shared exciting updates on their summer initiatives, including the hugely successful Concerts at the Pier which drew nearly 25,000 attendees. Alex also addressed key challenges for our community – from navigating diverse marketing channels, to tackling commercial vacancies, and managing the high costs of rejuvenating buildings.
A big thanks as well to Keith Greybeard for sharing updates on our upcoming Book Sale and introducing two new roles – Expediter and Promoter. With the energy and dedication of our members, the sale is shaping up to be another success! 📚
