April 21, 2026Since 1995, Dr. Lett has completed 14 Canadian government-funded projects in Africa focused on surgical and obstetrical skills training, as well as injury prevention. He is also the CNIS lead on the nine-county TTProject in Kenya, helping support practical medical education and stronger local health systems.
Congratulations to our 50/50 Draw winner, Nina Mudry, who won $2,238 at the Book Sale, and congratulations to our club as well for raising an additional $2,238 toward our $50,000 target for the Foundry Youth Wellness Resource Centre

A Taste of Surrey Cultural Dinner
Kristina shared information about the 4th Annual Cultural Dinner hosted by the Rotary Club of Surrey on Saturday, April 25 at 6:30 pm at Shannon Hall, 6050 176 Street, Surrey. Several members of our Club plan to attend, making up at least two tables. Tickets are $75 each or $425 for a table of 6. Rotary District Conference

Thank you to everyone who supports our Club Account by taking bottles and cans to Semiahmoo Bottle Depot, 15515 24 Avenue. Enter Irene’s cell number, 604-316-2090, print and scan the label, and drop off your recycling. Bottles and cans may also be brought to meetings, and someone will take them in.
