OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to provide reconditioned sports and recreational equipment to children in need in Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Cloverdale and North Delta.

Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action.

OUR HISTORY
Formed in 2007 by a group of Rotarians who wanted to see children in need access necessary sports equipment which would allow them to participate in the sport of their choice.

The idea was to collect used sports and recreational equipment that could be refurbished and repaired and then redistributed to underprivileged youth recognized by referral organizations throughout our local communities.

This in turn would give these children a sense of community and ensure their choices are positive ones through sports and other recreational activities.  Now our many generous donations of used equipment and volunteer repair time by Surrey and its surrounding residents help make us one of BC's most cost effective charities.

The R.E.C. for Kids Society is a non-profit organization under the B.C. Society Act that has registered charitable status. Registered with the Canada Revenue Agency for tax purposes.

HOW WE DO IT!
Children are provided equipment through referral agencies including schools, Municipal and Provincial government departments, Community Services, the Police and many other Social Service Agencies.

We distribute all kinds of sports equipment to kids in need, including Hockey Skates, Bicycles, Soccer, Softball and many other types of gear.
