Our Rotary meeting featured an inspiring lineup of guest speakers highlighting community impact both locally and internationally. Representatives from Sher Pride Vancouver shared the important work they do supporting the LGBTQ+ community through peer groups, a podcast, and initiatives such as their social justice film festival. We also heard from Leaders of Tomorrow Award recipient Ingrid Yang, who spoke about her leadership journey organizing successful fundraising badminton tournaments. Rounding out the program, Norma Barber delivered a compelling presentation on the Days for Girls project, showcasing its meaningful impact on girls and young women in the Dominican Republic.
