The Rotary Club of White Rock is proud to launch a meaningful and delicious community fundraiser: the Kingha Coffee Fundraiser in support of Sources Foundry Youth Wellness Centre.

This is more than a coffee promotion. It is a chance for our members, friends, families, neighbours, and local businesses to enjoy exceptional coffee while helping support a major new youth wellness initiative in our own community.

Every bag of Kingha Coffee tells a story — a story that begins in the rich volcanic soils of Uganda’s Kigezi Mountains, continues through local roasting here in White Rock and South Surrey, and ends with real support for youth and families close to home.

Supporting Foundry South Surrey–White Rock

The Rotary Club of White Rock is proud to support the development of Foundry South Surrey–White Rock, a new youth wellness centre being developed by Sources Community Resources Society, also known as SOURCES.

Foundry South Surrey–White Rock will provide free, confidential, and easy-to-access support for young people ages 12 to 24 and their families.

This new centre will bring together important services in one welcoming, stigma-free location, including:

• Mental health care
• Substance-use support
• Physical and sexual health services
• Peer support
• Family support
• Social services

For many young people and families, finding help can feel confusing, overwhelming, or delayed. Foundry is designed to make support easier to find, easier to access, and easier to trust.

Instead of youth and families having to search across different agencies and systems, Foundry brings support together in one youth-friendly space.

A Local Centre With a Province-Wide Model

Foundry South Surrey–White Rock is part of the larger Foundry BC network, which offers integrated youth health and wellness services across British Columbia.

This means our local centre will be connected to a proven model of care already helping young people in communities across the province.

SOURCES is leading the local South Surrey–White Rock centre, which will serve youth and families throughout South Surrey, White Rock, and the Peninsula area.

The centre is planned for 15451 Russell Avenue in White Rock, near Peace Arch Hospital.

This is an important and timely project for our community. It will provide young people and families with a place to turn when they need support, guidance, care, and connection.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

Youth today face many pressures, including anxiety, depression, social isolation, substance-use concerns, family stress, school challenges, and uncertainty about the future.

Families often struggle to know where to go for help. Young people may hesitate to reach out if services feel too formal, too far away, or too hard to access.

Foundry South Surrey–White Rock is being developed to reduce those barriers.

Kingha Coffee is grown in the Kigezi Mountains of Uganda, a region known for rich volcanic soils, high elevations, and excellent coffee-growing conditions.

The coffee is grown through natural and sustainable methods, with a strong respect for the land and the people who cultivate it. Kingha Coffee focuses on direct trade, regenerative farming, and community impact, creating a meaningful connection between Ugandan coffee growers and coffee lovers here in Canada.

Founded in 2015, Kingha Coffee began as a project connected to community and education initiatives in Uganda. Today, Kingha Coffee Canada imports coffee directly from its Ugandan farm and roasts it locally in the White Rock and South Surrey area.

This gives the fundraiser a remarkable local-and-global connection: coffee grown with care in Uganda, roasted close to home, and sold to support youth wellness right here in our own community.
